Contemplate

Updated: Jun 2, 2018

Coming to the end of another academic year, into for most of us, a slower few months, I’d love you to take some time and reflect on your 2018 so far.

Today I have a question for you, one that I hope you take time to contemplate and to pray over.

What has God been teaching you recently?

Coming to the end of another academic year, into for most of us, a slower few months, I’d love you to take some time and reflect on your 2018 so far or the last year of your life.

Look at the relationships you have, look at your habits of prayer and bible reading, look at your character in relation to Jesus’ and see how in all of those you have been shaped in the last 9-12 months.

If like me you struggle to just think of things then instead try answering these questions:

1. Are you living with God and abiding with Him? (John 15)

2.Are you being transformed to become more like Jesus?

3. Are you seeing the fruit of the Holy Spirit in your life and what has been developing in you?

4. Are you experiencing real authentic life in community with believers to encourage each other through a church family and relationships around you?

Don’t rush to answers, take the next few days to discern and think about it, praying that you see what God has been doing in you.
